Here is a quick tutorial on SPORE written by me Smile

Cell Stage:
Cell stage is the first stage of SPORE. Here you get to control your little cell. The controls and objective is very simple. When moving you may either use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move your cell, or right click with the mouth and guide it with your hand. The objective of this stage is to eat as much food as you can, evolve your cell to help it adapt and survive, and gather DNA to help you evolve.
You can also attack other cells for food; those smaller than you are evil to kill and often gain you 0-2 DNA points. Killing cells the same size shall produce 3 meat chunks for you to eat. The larger cells are harder to kill, and can often cost you your life.
Whether you are herbivore, omnivore or carnivore, by gathering DNA points from the floating meat chunks or flora cells (plants) you can evolve and add different eyes, mouths, attack parts or speed parts. Each attack and speed part has different stats. The higher the stats, the faster or stronger your cell shall become!
In order to evolve your cell, you must first locate your mate, which is easily done by pressing the Mating Call button and follow the calls of your mate. When you get near enough, a quick slideshow will appear, and then you are taken to the cell editor. Here, you are able to change the width of your cell, add or remove parts, and change the base colour of your cell. You are limited to what parts you may add; some you need to unlock, some you may not have enough DNA points. When finished, name your cell, give it a description and tags if you wish, and then press the green tick and play as your newly evolved cell! You can not create and save a creature without a mouth.
You can unlock new parts by either defeating creatures with the parts, or breaking meteor shards. You can break them by simply moving towards them and touching them. The parts will appear as a big glowing card - you can't miss it! Once you approach it and gain the part, you can then add it onto your cell if you wish.
Once you gain enough DNA, you are able to advance to the Creature Stage!! Or, you can hover in the tide pool for a little longer if you wish.

Creature Stage
At the start of the Creature Stage, you control a very simple creature, straight after cell stage. You find yourself at a nest with other creatures like you. In the creature stage, the objective is to evolve and become the most dominant creature of the planet, the top of the food chain!
Carnivore: As a carnivore, you need meat. Meat comes from creatures. You must battle and defeat other creatures to feed. If you eat fruit, it makes you sick. If you attack creatures weaker than you, it is much easier to defeat them. Attack those stronger with more health and it could become quite a challenge. Killing Baby creatures or eggs will instantly make the nest hostile to you, and shall attack you when you approach them. Killing and eating an egg earns you 25 DNA points.
Alphas are often stronger than the nest, and have more health. It takes slightly longer to kill, but they are no stronger than the other nest-mates. Kill Alphas can award you more DNA points and give you a new part to evolve with. This is the same for befriending them too; takes longer, and you gain parts.
You can defeat other creatures by useing your attack commands; Bite (all creatures can bite), Strike, Spit and Charge. Spit and Charge are long-ranged, Bite and Strike are short-ranged. The higher the stats, the more powerful the attack. You can gain these commands by adding the weapon parts onto your creature in the editor.
Herbivore: Herbivores are peaceful, and wish to make as many allies as possible. As a herbivore you eat fruits from plants, and befriend other creatures. To impress them, you can attract their attention by clicking them, then mimicing what they do. Your commands are Sing (all creatures can sing), Dance, Pose and Charm. You can only gain Pose from graspers (hands) and dance from feet. If you have a higher level command than the creature you are trying to impress, you are more likely to befriend them. If you have a lower level or press the wrong command, you are less likely to befriend them.
For both creatures, you need to kill or befriend a specific amount of creatures for each species. Befriend or kill the set amount, and you shall gain DNA points. Carnivores often have to kill 7 creatures, while Herbivores often have to befriend 3 or 4. Babies are easier to impress and kill, Alphas are harder. You can not impress an egg.
Omnivore: Omnivores are pretty much a mix of both Carnivores and Herbivores; you can eat both meat and plants, impress and extinct creatures. You need to impress and kill the right about of species to gain Omnivore status, which you can keep track of by looking at your history (you can only look at your history when you are not ready to advance to the next stage)
In order to evolve, you need to find your nest, and click on the creature with hearts floating around its head, usually the alpha. It has to be the same species as your creature. When you get to the editor, you'll find you can add many more parts and paint styles to your creature. If you want, you can also go to test drive and see how it animates. Same as cell; it needs a mouth and a name, and click the green tick to save and play.
In creature, depending on what parts you have, you creature can sprint, stealth, jump and glide. The higher the stat, the more effective the command.
The parts, gained or provided, all require different DNA points if they are a higher stat;
Level 1 - cell stage parts
Level 2 - 25 DNA points
Level 3 - 75 DNA points
Level 4 - 150 DNA points
Level 5 - 250 DNA points
You can gain DNA points by impressing or killing off other creatures. Once you have enough DNA points, you can advance to the Tribal Stage.

Tribal Stage
The objective of the Tribal Stage is to either befriend or impress the other tribes, and gain as much food as you can. You start off with your Chieftan, and 3 tribe members. You can attack or ally with the other tribes. As you attack or ally with them, you are able to buy tool huts and provide certain tools for your tribe. You need food to gain these; you can either forage for fruits, gather plants from the seas and rivers, go fishing, attack animals and gather meat, accept gifts from your allies or steal from other tribes.
To ally a tribe you must aquire instruments and play music, answering their commands. You have 3 instruments, which they may call out for. At the start of the stage, it shall start off simpler and they'll onlu call out for one type of intrument. You need to impress a tribe 2 times to ally them. Once allied, they sometimes send you gifts, which give you food.
To kill a tribe, you can either use weapons, or your creatures can attack themselves. Simply kill each member of the tribe, and then attack the main hut. Once the main hut is destroyed, the tribe is defeated. Enemies, whose tribes haven't been defeeated, sometimes comes to steal food from you, or attack your tribe. You must defend your tribe during these events.
As you progress, you are able to use more tools, and your tribe grows. You need 10 food to gain a new member by having an egg, and 25 food to gain a tribal hut for more tools. You can only have a max 6 huts. 3 huts are weapons, 3 are instruments, and 3 are other commands; healing rods, fishing poles, gathering baskets. As the stage progresses, the opposing tribes shall have more members, much like yours, which means it may be harder to defeat or ally them. When attacking, I advise you first have alot of food incase you need to get more tribal members or huts. If everyone in your tribe dies, or the main hut is destroyed, the stage is over and you restart it.
Once you have allied or destroyed every tribe and you are in charge, you can advance to the civilsation stage.

Civilsation Stage
The objective of this stage is to rule the world. You can do this buy taking over other cities. You can gain money by placing factories, and gaining control on Spice Nodes. You need to ensure you have a happy city by placing Entertainment buildings. You also need to place houses, these can gain you more money (sporebucks) and more vehicles.
Military: Destroy other cities by force. This can cause enemies. But it's a powerful take-over. You must destroy their buildings, and often vehicles that attack you. You need to attack the centre City Hall to win.
Religious: Take over other cities by converting their beliefs to yours. Religious cities can also stop entertainment and make the city unhappy, therefore easier to capture. You don't need to destroy buildings when taking over cities by religion.
Economic: Set up trade roots and slowly buy-out other nations. The trade routes help your relationship with the other city increase. When you become allies, and have enough money, you can buy them out and take control. Sometimes other nations will ask you to stop trading with certain cities. Think carefully about either keeping your alliance, or agreeing to help the other city by stop trading.
Once you fully take over the entire planet, you can advance to the space stage.

Space Stage
Space Stage has many objectives, which you can choose. The main one is to gain Level 10 Omnipotency and explore the Galactic Core and the centre of the Galaxy.
You can destroy or ally with other empires, terraform planets, expand your empire and become all-powerful. You can destroy empires by taking over or destroy all colonies and cities on their planets and completely remove their empire. You can make allies by giveing gifts, setting up trade routes, buy stuff from them, useing tools and completeing missions. Sometimes they lend you a spaceship to help you and your fleet, depending what level you are. You gain levels by earning badges. You can earn many different badges in many different ways.
Spice production and earning money is similar to the Civilsation Stage. However when you can pick up the spice from your planets, you can sell them to other empires for sporebucks. There are different types of spice; red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple. Red is most common, while purple is rare and more valuable, and can be sold for up to 70,000 SB per 1 spice.
You can use tools to terraform planets and improve your colonies. You can also use tools to help boost alliance or destroy other empires; be careful with what you do, you do not want to break Galactic Code or else you may make enemies and lose alliances.
The Space Stage has many options and choices that you can choose from. You can set yourself targets, like destroying every empire, collecting all badges and achievements, rule the galaxy or destroy a great threat. It's up to you for how you wish to guide your empire.
